The Electric Main Gate Lock With 2-Remote Kit is a motorised, remote-controlled locking system built for main gates and welding gates. This electric main gate lock releases its bolt electronically at the press of a remote, while a physical key cylinder and thumb-turn stay built into the body as a manual backup ā so a flat remote battery or a power cut never locks you out.
Key Features of Electric Main Gate Lock
- Motorised bolt release, remote-controlled
- 2 remote fobs included, each with lock/unlock buttons
- Backup key cylinder and thumb-turn built into the body
- Side-mounted electric strike plate for the bolt to engage
- Power adapter and full mounting hardware included
Why Choose This Electric Main Gate Lock
A manual multi-bolt lock still needs someone to walk up and turn a key by hand every time the gate opens. This electric main gate lock releases from a short distance with the remote instead ā useful for gates that get opened often, or households where carrying a bunch of keys isn’t practical. Because the physical key cylinder is still built into the body, the lock never leaves you stranded if the remote battery dies or the power goes out.
Best For / Not For
Best for: Main gates, welding gates, homes and offices wanting remote-operated entry without giving up a physical key backup.
Not recommended for: Interior room doors ā this is an outdoor-rated main gate lock, not a light interior fitting.

Compatibility
Fits standard main gates and welding gate frames. The lock body mounts to the gate leaf and the strike plate to the frame, working on the same principle as an electric strike mechanism ā the bolt releases electronically rather than needing a key turned by hand. Confirm your existing gate thickness and frame gap before ordering.
Buying Guide
Choose “With Remote Kit” if you want the full remote-operated experience out of the box ā 2 remotes, adapter, and all mounting hardware included. Choose “Without Remote Kit” if you already have a compatible remote system or only need the lock body itself. If you’d rather have a fully manual, non-electric option, see our Main Gate Lock in Pakistan ā a heavy-duty 5-bolt manual lock.
Installation
Professional installation by an electrician or locksmith is recommended, since the lock requires a power connection in addition to standard gate-mounting.
